When my first assignment was to make an innovation plan, I promise I did not get it. The professor was giving examples about makerspaces and ePortfolios and I didn't understand what he was talking about. After doing research on the E-Portfolios, I fell in love with the immediate connections i started making to the music world. I was also a bit jealous that I didn't have a music eportfolio of my own. I will use this platform not only as a portfolio of my work and research, but also as a modeling tool for my music students!
I also want to mention one of the most important feedbacks that I got on this assignment. Initially I stated that I would create and manage ePortfolios for my choir students, being that they were elementary students. That's when I got educated on Who owns the ePortfolio. I did more research in the area of Eportfolios for Elementary students and really grasped the concept of children's creative control.
In my spare time I will be going and re-watching all of my feedback videos and also continue to follow the 7 recommendations on the getting started page.
